Services for Wilma Green, 77, Logansport will be held at noon Monday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She passed away at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Logansport.
Born May 31, 1931, in Paoli, she was the daughter of the late James and Molly Ridge Farris. In December 1957, she was married to Forrest Josiah Eiler, who preceded in death in 1975.
She was a graduate of Delphi High School. Wilma formerly worked as a cook at the Captain Logan Hotel, Deckers Restaurant, Truckers Paradise and White House Restaurant and also formerly worked at the Salvation Army.
She was an avid sports fan and regularly volunteered at the election polls.
Survivors include one son, Ed Eiler and his wife, Susan, Delphi; two daughters, Glenda Powell and her husband, Greg, Lebanon, and Karen Johnson and her husband, Larry, Logansport; two brothers, Frank Farris and his wife, Betty, Pittsboro, and Gary Farris and his wife, Linda, Logansport; four sisters, Evelyn Hettinger, Alice Shaffer and Ruth Shaffer, all of Logansport. and Ivy Smith, Florida; five grandchildren, Michael, Krista and Ryan Eiler, all of Delphi, Amy Johnson, Logansport, and James "Jake" Woodward, Lebanon; four stepgrandchildren, Troy Powell, Alicia and Ryan Coffman, all of Lebanon, and Lee Powell and his wife, Stephanie, Kokomo; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Joseph and Kalib Abreach; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Farris.
Gene Personett will officiate.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
