Larry Dean Donbeck of 411 Grant Street, Gary, Indiana, was the son of Fred and Rachel E. (Swalls) Donbeck; and was born in Delphi (Carroll County) Indiana on January 16, 1897. He passed away on February 27, 1982 at Gary Memorial Hospital in Lake County. Larry served in the U.S. Army from February 28, 1918 to May 13, 1919. He was a steelworker with U.S. Steel Company where he retired. He was married to Mildred Mary Horn (DOB 2/2/1901 to DOD 3/20/92), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Horn (mother Maude E. Penny Horn) of Denver, Colorado in Crown Point, Indiana. (Mildred made her home in Logansport, Indiana for several years until her parents moved to Denver) prior to her marriage.
