Mrs. Brettnacher is the reason I became an English teacher. I was lucky enough to work with Mrs. Brettnacher for two years: as a junior on the English Super Bowl team, and as a senior in her AP English class. Her passion for the subject and compassion for her students; her sense of humor, creativity in lessons, and fun approach to classroom seating -- these engaged and inspired me as a youth and remain equally inspiring to me now. Her support and concern for me as an individual -- and for my fellow classmates -- mark her as an exceptional educator. Mrs. Brettnacher was always willing to talk with me about any concerns I might have, class-related or not. I will never forget Mrs. Brettnacher and the impressions she made on me are lasting. I am sad my brother -- now a sophomore at Delphi -- will not have the opportunity to be her student, but I couldn't be happier for Mrs. Brettnacher. 

You deserve nothing but the best, Mrs. Brettnacher. Thank you for all you have done in my life and for all the lessons you have taught me. May the best be yet to come! Happy holidays and happy New Year :)
