Erin E. Sprague Fassnacht, 62, of rural Carroll County, passed away Wednesday-April 27, 2022, at 1:57pm, at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born August 17, 1959, in Lafayette, to the late Harold & Betty Jean Cole Sprague. Her marriage was to David A. Fassnacht, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi, on November 11, 1978, and he survives. Erin graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1977. She received her RN degree from IU Kokomo in 1990. She worked in the healthcare field in Tippecanoe, and Carroll Counites, in oncology, and home healthcare. She also was the school nurse at Oaklawn & Eastlawn Schools, for the Twin Lakes School Corporation for several years. A homemaker and farm wife, she loved to help her husband on their family farm. She enjoyed bowling, painting, and pottery making. She loved to put out a big garden and share the produce she would raise. A true country girl at heart, she loved riding her Razor with her family around their farm, and going on long rides with her grandchildren, and mushroom hunting when it was time. She enjoyed traveling, especially to AZ, in her semi-retirement. Her family was her greatest love. She enjoyed any, and all time they could be together. Being the best grandma ever to her 4 grandchildren. That was her life. Surviving: husband-David A. Fassnacht of Delphi; daughter-Hilary & Chip Dale of Delphi; son-Wesley & Jennifer Fassnacht of Delphi; grandchildren: Reynolds & Harper Dale; Grace & Evelyn Fassnacht. Brother-Brad Sprague of Bloomington; brother-Bart & Kelly Sprague of Avon; sister-Laurie Kinzie of Carmel; several nieces & nephews; preceded in death by a brother David Brian Sprague. Services: The family will celebrate Erin's life at their home, 2915 W. 750 N., Delphi, IN 46923, Monday from 3pm to 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice to any charitable contribution in Carroll County involving youth.
