Tammy K. Emmitt, 58 of Rockfield, passed away on Aug. 4, 2022, at IU University Health in Indianapolis.

Tammy was born on Sept. 7, 1963, in Lafayette. to Linda Kay (Beever) Emmitt Calvert and the late William Richard Emmitt. She was a 1981 graduate of Delphi Community High School and a graduate of Indiana Business College in Ft. Wayne.

Tammy had been employed as a receptionist for Dr. Brodar and worked for Purdue University for over 10 years.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Delphi.

Tammy had a green thumb and enjoyed flower gardening. She dearly loved her dogs, friends and family. She also enjoyed Swedish weaving.

Surviving with her mother and stepfather, Linda and Glenn Calvert of Delphi are a brother, Jeff Emmitt of Kokomo; four aunts; an uncle; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Richard Emmitt.

Friends and family will gather at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 6 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service. Pastor Brent Oliver will officiate. Burial will be at the IOOF Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg, at a later date.
