Michael Lynn Chapman, 77, of rural Delphi, Indiana, died Monday, January 23, 2023.

He was born June 3, 1945, to Voris and Mary Jane (Smith) Chapman. He was a 1963 graduate of Delphi High School and attended Ball State University, Northwest Community College in Wyoming and East Tennessee State University. He served in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he was a lineman for the Carroll County REMC and retired after 37 years.

His family includes his wife, Mary; sister, Pixie; his children, Sharna, Shane and Caleb; grandchildren, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brother.

Private burial was in Camden Cemetery, Camden, Indiana.
