William Spicer

William Spicer (Bill) 70, passed away on June 1, 2021 in Lafayette IN. After graduating from Delphi Highschool, he joined the Marine Corp where he served 4 years. He married Martha (Nesbitt) Spicer in 1983.He has 2 sons, Andrew Spicer and Dylan Spicer; 3 grandchildren, Beckham, Kane and Pheonix Spicer, who he adored.

Bill loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, archer and fisherman. He loved shooting competition archery with his friends and passing those passions onto the next generation. Waiting for spring and mushroom season was a welcomed event. He also enjoyed watching sci-fi on TV, (he was a true Trekie) and spending time with family and friends brought joy to his life.

He has 3 brothers, Harold (Jane), John, Ken; 4 sisters, Helen, Freeda, Wanda (Mike), Connie (Frank), Julie (Ernie), and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen, and her husband Charlie.

There will be a celebration of life on June 27th from 1-3pm, followed by military honors, at Otterbein United Methodist Church, Otterbein, IN. Masks welcome and appreciated.
