Mr. Alberts had worked at Globe Valve and then went to work and retired from TRW in Lafayette. He later worked for Andersons as a grain handler.
He enjoyed farming, fishing and was a John Deere enthusiast.
He is survived by his daughter Kristen Brill (Nicholas) of Lowell; grandchildren: Lauren and Lucas Brill of Lowell; sister, Kim Isley (Steve) of Delphi; niece, Brittany Sales of Indianapolis and nephew, Jonathon Sales of Delphi.
He was also preceded by a brother, Gary "Tiger" Alberts.
Visitation will be from noon until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. Pastor Eric Riddle officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.

William "Rob" Alberts, 54, of Delphi passed away on June 9, 2018 at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette. Rob was born on Oct. 13, 1963 in Lafayette to the late Gary L. and Sharon (Politz) Alberts. He was a 1983 graduate of Delphi High School.
