Jerome K Jeffries, 74, of Palm Harbor, Fla. died on Nov 8, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Jo Ann of 50 years; a brother, James "Jim" Jeffries, of Delphi; six children, Deborah Mack, of Nabb, Michael Jeffries, of Dupont, Timothy Jeffries, of Scottsburg, Patricia Spaulding (Stephen), of Scottsburg, Karen Roth (Troy), of Scottsburg, Sheryl Jeffries, of New Albany; 13 grandchildren, Brooklynn and Jordan Mack, Kristina and Kayla Jeffries, Korbin Roth, Levi (Jayme), Stephanie, and Samantha Spaulding, Bailey, Taylor and Quincy Jeffries, Quinton and Shelby Jeffries; four great-grandchildren, Graycie, Cooper, and Easton Spaulding, and Benny Rodriguez.

He was born in Jamestown on July 17, 1938, to Paul and Naomi Jeffries. He graduated high school in Delphi in 1956.

He spent his career as a pipefitter-welder with Local 157 out of Terre Haute. A memorial service will be held at Mt Hebron Church in Scottsburg, Ind. at 1 p.m. on Nov 24, 2012.
