Stephen R. Braden

Stephen R. Braden, 56, Yeoman, died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at 5:02 p.m. in Home Hospital, Lafayette. Born August 2, 1949, in Logansport, Indiana, he was the son of Elmer and Donna (Dennis) Braden. On May 13, 1972, in Delphi, he married, Peggy (Robertson) Braden, who survives in Yeoman.
Mr. Braden was a 1968 graduate of Delphi High Shcool. He had been employed with Delphi Limestone for 10 years. He then worked in Maintenance at Easton Truflite for 28 years. He enjoyed wood working, especially remodeling, and was a perfectionist. He also enjoyed his yard work. He was proud of his new workshop he completed this past summer. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. Survivors: Son, Grover Braden of Monticello, IN; Daughter, Ginger Boyd of Brookston, IN; Brother, Stan (Penny) Braden of Burrows, IN; 2 Granddaughters, Michealla Braden and Jordon Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
