Robert Julius - Class Of 1930

 

Prominent Flora business man and owner of Julius Clothing Store, Robert C. Julius, 70, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1982, at 2:30 p.m. in Community Hospital in Indianapolis where he had been hospitalized for five weeks.
  The son of C.O. Julius and Effie (Klepinger) Julius, who survives, he was born Feb. 5, 1912 in Delphi.  He married Georganna Huber in 1942, who also survives.
  The owner of Julius Clothing Store since 1941, he was the third generation of the Julius family to own and operate a retail store in the county.
  A graduate of Delphi High School, he attended Depauw University and Purdue University and was a member of the Flora United Methodist Church.  He served as a member and past president of several town organization, including the Flora Community Club, the Flora Town Board and the Flora Rotary.  He was also a member of the Flora Fair Board.
  Also surviving with the wife and mother, are a son, Robert Huber Julius, South Bend, and a daughter, Cynthia Yeakley, Flora, and two grandchildren.
  Services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Elbert Smith and Rev. James Swan officiating.  Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday).  Burial will be held in Maple Lawn Cemetery.
  Memorials may be made to the Carroll County Heart Fund.
