Forrest Brehmer

  Forrest E. Brehmer, 32, of Mt. Clements, Michigan, formerly of Delphi, died Thursday at his home after suffering a heart attack.
  Born in White county January 19, 1931, his parents were G.W. and Lillie Sigman Brehmer.  He was graduated from Delphi high school where he was a star football player.  A veteran of the Korean conflict, he was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian church, the Delphi American Legion Post 75, and the Masonic Lodge of Mt. Clements.  His marriage in 1954 was to Crystal Calhoun.
  Surviving with the widow are his mother, Mrs. G.W. Brehmer of Delphi; two step-daughters, Mrs. Connie Boatright of Lafayette and Mrs. Linda Ludtke of Mt. Clements; three brothers, Allen of Peru; Marvin of Delphi and Howard of Indianapolis; two sisters, Miss Jean Brehmer of Mission, Kansas and Mrs. Don Burkhalter of Delphi.  Also surviving are two grandsons.
  The body was returned to the Jackson funeral home where rites were conducted at 2:30 Monday with Rev. James Rankin officiating.  Burial was in the Masonic cemetery with military graveside rites by the Delphi American Legion.
