Robert Wilcox

  Robert M. "Red" Wilcox, 57, of Lafayette, died at 1:15 a.m. March 25, 1988, in St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center where he was admitted last Thursday.
  He was born March 4, 1931, in Tippecanoe County, and graduated from Delphi High School in 1949.
  His marriage was Aug. 15, 1954, in Buck Creek to Norma L. Temple.
  He had worked in the maintenance department at National Enterprises for 39 years.  He served in the Army during the Korean War.
  He was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge of Lafayette, and a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church.
  Surviving with his wife are a son, Jeffrey Wilcox of Battle Ground; two daughters, Debbie Mahan of Lafayette and Elizabeth Baxter of Battle Ground; his foster mother, Mildred Smith of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Schnepp of Rt. 3, Lafayette, and Martha Stienman of Carlsbad, Calif.; four brothers, William D. Wilcox, Charles R. Wilcox and Gene Wilcox, all of Lafayette, and Donald Wilcox of Delphi; six grandchildren and one step grandchild.
  Services were Monday in Lafayette, with burial in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or Cancer Society.
