Geraldine Goslee

Geraldine Goslee, 50, died after a short illness,  at St. Elizabeth Hospital early Tuesday afternoon. Born August 20, 1914, in Yeoman, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Rosetta Ward Goslee. She was a member of the Yeoman Methodist Church, the Delphi Business and Professional Women’s Club. She has been active

in the Carroll County Democratic Party activities and for the past ten years has been a secretary in the law office of Ives and Ives.  Among the survivors are two

nieces, Mrs. Marjorie Rider of Mul­berry and Mrs. Joyce Sheets of San Pierre.

The body will lie to state at the Yeoman Methodist Church for one hour before the two o’clock funeral services, Friday afternoon. Reverend Bill Moon will officiate and burial will be at Yeoman Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Jackson Funeral Home.

Opal F. Smith (Bowman) (1933)

So, so surprised to see this appear after all these years.  Geraldine and I started school together in 1921 at Yeoman and graduated from DCHS in 1933,  She rode with me to work for several years and we wee always friends. Brought back many individual memories - lunches together at Dame's Ice Cream Parlor, a car accident, walking with her to her home from school, etc.
