Asa Cohee - Class Of 1928

  Asa H. Cohee, 85, or Tr. 3, Delphi, died at 4 a.m. Dec. 19, 1993, at his residence.
  Born Feb. 9, 1908, in Woodville, he was the son of Asa and Molly Dunn Cohee.  His marriage was on Jan. 23, 1934, in Rockfield, to Laurene Jackson who survives.
  He worked 10 years for the former John Smith Dairy in Delphi and 25 years on a milk route in Carroll County.  He also was a grain and dairy farmer for 25 years.
  He served in the Indiana National Guard for 16 years and was a sergeant major.  He was activated during World War II and served in the Army.
  He was a member of the Delphi First Presbyterian Church.
  Also surviving are one son, Asa "Jack" Cohee of Rt. 3, Delphi; one brother, John R. Cohee of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; four sisters, Miriam Myer of Flora, Helen Orr of Delphi, Mary McCloskey of Logansport, and Lucille Popejoy of Whitehall, Pa.; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
  Services were Tuesday at the Delphi First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Willis Gasser and Rev. James Rankin officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Delphi.  Horn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
  Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
