Elizabeth (Todd) Ratcliff, 79, Delphi, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 1983, at 1:545 p.m. at Home Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient since Sunday.  She had been in ill health one year.
  Born Jan. 13, 1903, in Logansport, her parents were Mike and Christina Hagar Merrell.  Her marriage was to John Ratcliff Nov. 3, 1921, in Rochester.  He survives.
  Mrs. Ratcliff is a 1921 Delphi High School graduate and had been a Delphi beautician many years.  She was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian Church and past member of Delphi Business and Professional Women's Club.
  Surviving with the husband are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Thompson, and one son, Dean Ratcliff, both Delphi; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  One son, one brother and one sister preceded in death.
  Funeral services were Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home, Delphi, with Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating.  Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
