Gladys W. Woodrum, 85, Rt. 1, Frankfort, died at 8:07 a.m. Feb. 18, 1991, at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville. She was born in Hoopeston, Ill., Oct. 24,1905, a daughter of Walter and Mary Jane Airhart Young. She was married Nov. 17, 1947, to Hubert D. Woodrum, who died in January. A resident of Carroll County for over 80 years, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church at Delphi. She graduated from Delphi High School in 1924, and was a member of Burlington American Legion Auxiliary. She worked for Carroll County Abstract Company, and Tippecanoe Abstract Company, retiring in 1983. Surviving are a foster daughter, Virginia Orem of Rt. 1, Russiaville; and a sister, Alma Garrison of Ossian. Three brothers preceded her in death. Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Neptune Funeral Home with the Rev. Ellis Gasser officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery. Friends may call today between 4-8 p.m.
