Miss Adelphia Bitler, 80, of Rt. 1 Delphi, died at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday of last week in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient two months. Miss Bitler was born June 19, 1881, in the home where she had resided all her life. Her parents were William Thomas and La-vonia Tussing Bitler. She was a piano teacher for several years. She was a member of the Hickory Grove Church and Jefferson Township Extension Homemakers Club. Surviving are three nephews. Two brothers and two sisters, including Miss Flora Bitler, with whom she had lived, preceded her in death in May. Final rites were Saturday afternoon at Jackson Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen D. Friar officiating. Interment was in Pleasant Run Cemetery north of Delphi.
