Cloid Crawford - Class Of 1895

Cloid Crawford, 68, died Monday day morning about 1:30 at his home in South Delphi following a brief illness with heart's disease. A sudden heart attack proved fatal. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Miles A. Freeman, pastor of the Presbyterian Ohurch, officiating. Burial was made in the Masonic cemetery with Blythe and Sons in charge. Mr. Crawford, the son of Nathaniel and Elizabeth Hefleng Crawford, was born in Carroll county and lived here the greater part of his life. He spent few years in Chicago where he was a mail carrier. He also served for years as a mail carrier in this county and was retired on pension several years ago. Mr. Crawford also practiced as a chiropractor in this city. His wife died five years ago. They had no children. A sister, Florence Crawford, the only member of the family of seven children remaining, survives. She resides next to the home of her brother in South Delphi.
