Mr. A.M. Rankin of Delphi received a message Thursday telling him of the sudden death of his brother William J. Rankin which occurred suddenly at Los Angeles, California.  The message stated that he had been found dead in his automobile.  Mr. Rankin was 73 years of age.  He was born in Carroll county and graduated from the Delphi high school in 1879.  He went to California bout thirty years ago where he has since resided.  He is survived by his widow who was before her marriage Miss Rose Turner of Rockfield and his brother A.M. Rankin of Delphi.
