Burniece Orr, 80, of Delphi, died at 10:10 p.m. May 27, 1990, at her resident.

  Born March 21, 1910, in Delphi, she was the daughter of George M. and Nettie Bougher Allen.  She was a lifetime resident of the Delphi community.

  Her marriage was April 9, 1938, in Delphi, to Lee Orr, who survives.

  A 1928 graduate of Delphi High School, she was a clerk at Goff's Variety Store in Delphi for a number of years and then at Payne's Variety Store in Delphi before retiring.

  Also surviving are one son, William H. "Bill" Orr of Delphi and one grandson.  She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

  Services were today at Horn Funeral Home with Pastor David Futrell officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Delphi.

  Memorial contributions may be made to the society for Prevention of Blindness.
