Michael Wayne Peterson, 14, of Rt. 1, Delphi died at 6:01 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 1983, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis where he had been a patient two days. Born April 13, 1968 he was the son of Donald and Wilma Jean Disinger Peterson. Michael was an eighth grade student at Delphi Community Middle School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and had started with a course in taxidermy. Surviving with the parents are two brothers, Mark, a student at Purdue University, and Brad, at home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Peterson, Sr. of Rt. 4, Delphi; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Disinger, Delphi. Services were Tuesday at 2 p m. at the Horn Funeral Home in Delphi with the Rev. Donald Ashley officiating. Burial was in Musselman Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the National Reyes Syndrome Foundation.
