Vera Rardon (Schermerhorn) - Class Of 1922

Mrs. Vera A. Rardon Schermerhorn, 77, Lafayette died Sunday, January 3, 1982, in St. Elizabeth Hospital where she had been a patient one day. She had been ill two years. She was born and reared at Delphi and had lived at Lafayette 60 years. For 15 years she was employed at Pankey’s Restaurant, retiring in 1974. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Lafayette. Surviving are two daughters, Avanella Hubertz of Lafayette and Betty Schockey, with whom she made her home; two sisters, Mary Weese of Lebanon and Ruth Hyer of Dayton, Ohio; one brother, Harley Rardon of Lafayette; four grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Rardon are deceased. Services were this morning at St. Boniface Catholic Church and interment was in the church cemetery.
