Wayne D. White, 44, of 3584 N. 975 W., Delphi, died at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 5, 1997, at his residence.
  Born Oct. 24, 1952, in Lafayette, he was the son of Frank C. and Bethel Sneathen White.  His marriage was on June 28, 1980, in Lafayette, to Roberta L. Lane, who survives.
  A 1970 graduate of Delphi Community High School, he had worked at the The Anderson's Grain Elevator and then Globe Valve Corp. until 1989.
  He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi and Battle Ground Masonic Lodge.  He enjoyed woodworking and atronomy.
  Also surviving are two daughters, Liddia Dawn White and Abby Bernice White, both at home, and his mother, of Delphi.
  Services were Saturday at Abbott Funeral Home, Delphi, with Father Donald Hardebeck officiating.  Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Delphi.
  Memorials may be made to the Wayne White Education Memorial Fund for his daughter, in care of Bright National Bank.
