Michael left us on April 20Th, 2007 and there is a whole in the world. Michael moved to Delphi from Lafayette in our high school years and he and I hit it off from the get go. Some say if there was some trouble in school look for Dilling and Gerard. Not bad trouble just being high school kids. When it came to graduation march it so happened that he and I paired up to march in for the ceremony, well administration was not real keen on that idea, but we managed to pull it off without disruption. Some class mates might remember the time his steering wheel came off his car and went into the ditch by the Dog-N-Suds. It was always something with us two. We became so close that we were best man at each others weddings. I know the ole boy is resting peacefully now and I will never forget him.
