Victoria Ann Smith, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Nov. 27, 2023.

She was born July 22, 1958, in Lafayette, Ind., to James and Carol McGreevey. Vickie was a graduate of Delphi Community High School and received her bachelor’s degree from St. Francis College. On Sept. 12, 1987, she married Robert L. “Bob” Smith.

Vickie was an office manager for various businesses in the Indianapolis area. She was a longtime member of St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church where she played guitar and sang for school mass and church services for over ten years. After retiring, she started her own quilting business called “Quilting by Vickie” and was a member of the Mudsock Quilters Guild.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 1, from 4 until 7 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel, 9900 Allisonville Road, Fishers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Simon the Apostle Catholic Church, 8155 Oaklandon Road, Indianapolis., with visitation there one hour prior. Vickie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Robert L. Smith; children, Ryan Smith and Sarah Jones (Tom); grandson, Thomas R. Jones (due January 2024); sisters, Brenda Dages (Tim) and Kellie Martin; brotherin law, Wayne Kenney; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Teresa Kenney.
