Marcia A. Foster, 56, of Monticello, died Thurs.-July 23, 2015 at 2:20am at St. Elizabeth East Hospital-Laf. She was born Dec. 15, 1958 in Lafayette, to the late Robert Foster, and her mother, Shirley Fesler Foster who survives, and lives in Seattle, WA. Her marriage was to John D. Disinger on Sept. 6, 1975, and he preceded her in death in Oct.-2004. She was a 1977 graduate of Delphi High School. She worked for ADKEV in Monticello for the past 5 years, and prior to that, worked for the former Landis-Gyr in Laf., for over 20 years. She enjoyed lake and river activities, boating & swimming, she enjoyed sitting around a campfire with her family & friends. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed NASCAR, especially driver Jeff Gordon, and while watching him race would say “Go Jeffie”, cheering him on. She traveled inside the U.S., and over sea’s. She would rescue animals, mainly dogs & cats from shelters, and give them a new home. Her passion was her family, and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She dearly loved them all. Surviving: daughter-Cortney & Jason Harmon of Monticello; son-Joshua & Ephina Disinger of Delphi; sisters-Brenda Wortman companion Rex Wilson of Pittsburg, Joyce & Jeff Harter of Camden, Vickie Foster of Seattle, WA,; brothers-Mark & Debi Foster of Indianapolis, Steven & Jackie Foster of Kent, WA; grandson-Nathan Harmon & granddaughter-Mercedes Disinger. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins survive. Services: A celebration of life service will take place at a later date to be announced.
