Nancy Cowen, 78, of Delphi, passed away on April 9, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi. Nancy was born on June 3, 1938 in Carroll County, Indiana to the late Raymond R. and Mildred F. (Trapp) Cowen.

She was a 1956 graduate of Delphi High School.

Nancy retired in 1981, after 38 years with Kerlin Feed Mill in Delphi where she worked as a bookkeeper.

Nancy was a seamstress and did alterations, hand embroidery, and quilting and she enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, and reading Zane Gray novels.

She is survived by her sister, Karen Cowen of Kokomo, 2 nephews, Doug and Brad and a niece, Lee Ann; and several great and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents and brothers, Robert and James Cowen.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 14, 2017 from noon until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi. Pastor Dan Gottschalk will officiate. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery, Delphi.
