David Ringer

David Douglas Ringer, 46, of rural Camden, died unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, April 13th at Logansport Memorial Hospital. He was born November 13, 1970 in Ft. Wayne, IN.

He was the son of George M. and Nancy Johnson Ringer. He graduated from Delphi Community High School in 1989 and had attended Butler and Purdue Universities. He previously worked at Caterpillar and was a self-employed automotive mechanic and farmer.

On July 17, 1997 at Camden, he married Lisa Jackson, who survives. Also surviving are sons, Alex (Megan) of Cicero, and A.J. of Camden. His mother, Nancy Ringer of rural Delphi; his sister, Debbie (Mark) McFatridge of Little Rock, AR; and his granddaughter, Camdyn also survive.

He was preceded in death by his father. 

David was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Camden, the NRA and NHRA. He enjoyed playing guitar, farming, and working on automobiles.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 17th at Cree Funeral Home, Camden. Funeral services will be there at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Malachi Jaggers officiating. Burial will follow in the Camden Cemetery.
