Lea Susie Sims

 Lea E. "Susie" Jeffery Sims, 60, of 1369 W. 300 N., Camden, died at 1:50 a.m. on March 26, 2005, at St. Joseph, Ann Seaton Hospital in Kokomo.  She had been a patient there since March 21, and in ill health for the past two months.
  Born in Marion on March 11, 1945, she was the daughter o Edward and Eva Creasey Jeffery.  She was a 1962 graduate of Delphi High School, and received her beautician's certificate and license from Lafayette Beauty Academy in 1970.
  Ms. Sims was a beautician fro 30 years, and formerly owned and operated Around The Corner Beauty Shop in Delphi for 15 years.
  She was a member of Lafayette Post #492 American Legion Women's Auxiliary and enjoyed canvas and china painting, crafts, and crocheting.
  Surviving are a daughter, Ava D. "Donnie" Dalton (fiancé: Ken Willis) of Delphi; a niece, with whom she made her home, Tammie S. Jeffery of Camden; two granddaughters, Lezlee Sims and Jazzmine Dalton; three nieces; two nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by two brothers.
  Services were Tuesday at Abbott Funeral Home, with burial at Battle Ground Cemetery.
