Mark Maxson - Class Of 1977

Mark T. Maxson, 47, of Lafayette, died unexpectedly at 9:45 a.m. on Nov. 19, 2005, on Hwy. 25S near CR 500 E and Sr 225.

  Born in White County on Oct. 23, 1958, he was the son of Virgil and Nancy Reece Maxson. He attended Delphi High School, and completed his GED.

  Mr. Maxson worked at McDonald's on US Hwy. 43, and for Greenbush Industries in Lafayette for 15 years.

  He served in the Indiana National Guard for three years.

  Mr. Maxson attended Schuyler Avenue Wesleyan Church in Lafayette.

  Surviving are his mother, of Delphi; a son, Cory Williams (wife: Jamie) of Salem; a daughter, Tanica Villars (husband: Jason) of Frankfort; a stepson Brandon Jenkins of Delphi; two brothers, Robert Maxson of West Lafayette and Gene Maxson of Delphi; a sister, Gwynne Scott of Delphi; a grandmother, Evelyn Denman of Delphi; and four grandchildren.

  Services are at Abbott Funeral Home today at 2 p.m. with Rev. Tim Stewart officiating.  Burial will be at IOOF Memorial Gardens in Pittsburg.  Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
