Myron A. Welch, 43, 4030 N County Road, 900 E. Lafayette, died March 22, 1986 in Home Hospital, Lafayette, following a truck accident Friday evening.
  He was born July 4, 1942, in Lafayette, to Milford and Edna Ade Welch.  He was married to Mary Hildreth, December 24, 1965, in Lafayette, and she survives.
  Welch was a 1960 graduate of Delphi High School and a 1964 graduate of McPherson College, Kansas.  He received his master's degree from Purdue University in 1966.  He served with the Brethren Volunteer Service in Austria and Poland with the Agriculture Exchange Program 1966 until 1968.  He farmed in Carroll and Tippecanoe counties.
  He attended and was active in the First United Methodist Church, West Lafayette, and was a member of Purdue Alumni Association.
  Surviving with the wife are one son, Todd C. Welch, at home; his mother, Edna C. Welch, Rt. 4, Delphi; and one brother.  He was preceded in death by one sister.
  Services were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, West Lafayette, with Horn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Burial was in Spring Vale Cemetery, Lafayette.  Friends desiring may contribute in memoriam to McPherson College or donor's favorite charity.
