Norman L. DENNY, 31, Delong, died at 9:30 p.m.Wednesday at his residence. County
coroner Junior Good said Denny died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound.
Mr. Denny was born Nov. 4, 1943, at Delong, to Joseph and Daisey MILLER DENNY.
He had lived in the Delong area for 1 1/2 years followig his discharge from the U.S. Marine
Corps. Mr. Denny was a member of the Kewanna VFW post.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Joann) CLINGLER, Delong, and Mrs. Lewis
(Carol) FLORY, Tippecanoe; two brothers, James W. DENNY, Batesville, Ark., and Carl M.
DENNY, Mishawaka; one half-sister, Mrs. Joseph (Edith) BRADY, Kewanna, and three halfbrothers,
Gaylord L. BROWN, Logansport; Walter E. DENNY, Rochester, and George DENNY,
Peru.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bonine funeral home in Culver with the Rev.
Philip LUTZ officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery, Bruce Lake, with the
Kewanna VFW conducting graveside services. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday.
