Vicki Sines (Harner)

Vicki J. Harner, 66, of Lafayette died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born December 29, 1949, in Lafayette to the late Ralph and Thelma Kirkpatrick Sines. Vicki graduated from Delphi High School and Indiana Wesleyan University. On November 3, 1998 she married Robert D. Harner in Pigeon Forge, TN and he survives. Vicki worked at A. E. Staley's south plant in Human Resources for 20 years. After retiring from Staley's she was a realtor for Century 21/Prudential Real Estate for 10 years and retired in 2015. She enjoyed her time with the Delphi Gals and was a proud supporter of the Delphi Historical Society. She loved nurturing and loving her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed taking annual fishing trips to Minnesota with Rob and their family and friends. Surviving along with her husband are their children: R. Christopher Harner (Shelley) of Flowery Branch, GA, Brian D. Clawson (Trina) of West Lafayette, Robin D. French (Michael), Amber C. Everest (Scott), Scott B. Clawson (Jessica) all of Lafayette, grandchildren Kayla Everest, Alan Harner, Michael Harner, Ashley Vibbert, Jake Everest, Shelby Vibbert, Camden French, Ryanne Clawson, Celina Clawson, Carson French, Saige Clawson, and Easton Clawson. Also surviving is her sister Jolene Meade (Byron) of Naples, FL, and a brother Leton Sines (Sandy) of Kokomo. Vicki was preceded in death by a son Eric Allen Clawson and a granddaughter Reece Morgan Clawson. Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be 3:00 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, Rev. Dwight Monical officiating. Interment will be at Dayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to American Heart Association in Vicki's memory.
