Max W. Andrew, 71, formerly of Delphi, died Jan. 3, 2004, in Victorville, Calif.
  Born in Delphi on Feb. 13, 1932, he was the son of George and Miriam Robinson Andrew.  He was a 1951 graduate of Delphi High School.
  His marriage was to Blanche L. Andrew, and she survives.
  Mr. Andrew was a U.S. Army veteran.
  He had attended Delphi United Methodist Church.
  He moved from Delphi to the Los Angeles, Calif., area in 1959, and drove a city bus, retiring in 1986.
  Mr. Andrew was an avid race fan, and had attended the Indianapolis 500 race since 1954.
  Also surviving is a stepsister Pauline Humbarger of Flora.  He was preceded in death by two brothers and his stepmother, Hazel Andrew.
  Private family burial was April 24 at Morning Heights Cemetery in Delphi,  Abbott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
