Beverly Jean Gwin, 80, Lafayette, died at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.

She was born June 19, 1932, in Camden, to the late Otis and Ruth Campbell George.

She graduated from Delphi High School in 1951.

On December 18, 1954, she married Robert F Gwin in Delphi. He died in February of 1988.

Beverly enjoyed reading and doing cross-stitch.

Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Gwin of Lafayette and Sherry Gwin of Dayton; a sister Marilyn Pattee of Frankfort and a sister-in-law Adeleen George of Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends will be received 1 hour prior to a 2 p.m. service, Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette; with Pastor Steve Covert officiating. Burial will be a Spring Vale Cemetery.
