Ken Ward

Kenneth E. Ward, 79, passed away in Bremerton on May 24, 2013. Kenneth was born Aug. 21, 1933 in Wolcott, Ind. to Charles A. and Pearl (Humphreys) Ward. He attended Delphi High School, in Delphi Indiana and Seattle Universities where he received a bachelor's degree. Kenneth served in the Navy as rank of MML Class A, from 1951 through 1954. During his years of service, he received many awards: Korean Service Medal, China Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He also served on the USS Essex (CVA-9).

Kenneth went on to marry Patricia J. (Fenlon) Ward on Sept. 26, 1989 in Reno, Nev. He worked and retired from Park Davis and Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical after 19 years, then went on to own Sinbads as well as Olympic Darts, Novelties and Trophies.

Kenneth was a member of many organizations: V.F.W., American Legion Post #149, $UM$ President Bremerton Senior Center, City of Bremerton Task force and Universal Life Chue. Kenneth's interests and hobbies included computer training, videography and he was an MC for Spectapulars Dance Troupe for 15 years.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gregory Ward; sister, Myrt; brothers, Charles, Jim and Little Buddy. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia Ward; sons, Doug and Rick; daughters, Diana, Renee, Ping; brothers, Silas and Raymond; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his extended friends and family of the Bremerton Senior Center and Spectapulars Dance Troupe.
