Wilma J. Farmer, 83, of Delphi, died at 11:30 a m. on Oct. 30, 2005, in Lafayette. Born in Carroll County on March 6, 1922, she was the daughter of William and Arra Hapher Sharpf. Her marriage was to Robert G. Farmer in Delphi, and he died Aug. 13, 2004. Mrs. Farmer was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm. She formerly was a member of Burrows Christian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Myra L. Thompson of Mountain City; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Private family services are planned. Memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation through Abbott Funeral Home.
