Marilyn Jean Hubbard (Wood)

Marilyn Wood, 60, Delphi, died May 28, 1987, of an apparent heart attack.  She was dead on arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
   She was born February 14, 1927, to Earl and Olive Hoffman Hubbard.  Her marriage was to David A. Wood, on June 24, 1945, in Delphi, and he survives.
   Mrs. Wood graduated from Delphi High School in 1945.  She worked at the Carroll Telephone Company for several years and was also employed as a cook for the Delphi Community High School and Delphi Nursing Home.  She was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church, and former member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority and Delphi Art Club.
   Surviving with the husband are one son, David A. Wood, Jr., Eastover, South Carolina; one daughter, Rebecca Wood, Delphi; three grandchildren; and her mother of Rt. 5, Monticello.
   Services were held Monday at Horn Funeral Home, and burial was in Masonic Cemetery.  Those desiring may contribute in memoriam to the Heart Fund or the Diabetes Foundation.

Gerald (Jake) Clear (1981)

My mom has been gone over 25 years now she was a wonderful mom & best friend  she was as close as anyone could be to their mom,, her laugh, and how oinery she was, smile and love are missed every day, Love you mom and miss you. Becky Wood Clear
