Vernon E. Sales, 70, of Bloomington, died July 20, 1999, in Bloomington Hospital.
  Born Oct. 25, 1928, in Delphi, he was the son of Charles C. and Maude Lucille Heck Sales.  His marriage was to the former Betty J. Collins.
  Mr. Sales was a retired agent with Western & Southern Life Insurance Co. and had also worked with Classic Touch Limousine Service.
  Also surviving are three daughters, one son; one brother, Robert Sales of Delphi; one sister, Marge Foreman of Delphi; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Allen Funeral Home, Bloomington.  Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. Friday until time of service.
  Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
