Mrs. Ada Marjorie Martin, 43, who resided at 2603 Union Street, Lafayette, died Monday morning at 2 a.m. in St. Elizabeth hospital.  She had been hospitalized three weeks following surgery.

  Born in Delphi August 14, 1918 her parents were Dr. Walter W. and Ruby Bailey Gochenour.  She was graduated from Delphi High School in 1936 and was a member of the Delphi Methodist church.  Her marriage was to Boyd Martin on August 8, 1940.  Most of her lifetime had been spent in this community.

  Surviving with the husband are her mother, Mrs. Walter Gochenour of route 4, Delphi; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Barbara) Mulligan of Monticello; a son, Walter at home; a sister, Mrs. Scott (Martha) Sowers of Fairmount, Va.; a brother Edward of Pendleton.  Two grandchildren also survive.

  Funeral rites will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Jackson funeral home with Rev. Lynn Garth officiating.  Burial will be in the Masonic cemetery.
