DELPHI -- Mary A. "Sis" Brooks, 92, of Oberlin, Kan., formerly of Delphi, died Feb. 1, 2011 in her residence.

Born Dec. 9, 1918, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Anna May Downs Fauset. She graduated from Delphi High School.

She married Charles Norman Brooks in November 1964. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Brooks had been a secretary at Ralston Purina Co. in Delphi and was a member of Delphi Christian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Jamie Wray of Oberlin; a stepdaughter, Norma Brooks of Holland; and stepsons, Roger, Jim and Kevin Brooks, all of Lafayette.
