Mary Frances Richardson (McWilliams) - Class Of 1940

Mary Frances McWilliams, 64, of 2420 Apache Dr., Lafayette, died at 2 am, Saturday at Home Hospital, Lafayette, where she had been a patient four days.  She had been in failing health one and a half years.

She was born May 15, 1922 in Pittsburg, to Harley and Faye Boyles Richardson.  They both survive in Pittsburg.

She was married in 1940 to Robert Ratcliff, who preceded in death.  She was married in 1971 in Fort Lauderdale, FL to William F. McWilliams, who survives.

She lived in the Lafayette and Delphi areas until 1970 when she moved to Fort Lauderdale..  She returned to Lafayette in 1985.

She worked for JC Penney store in Lafayette in the early 1960's and was the first manager of the catalog department at the store.

A 1940 graduate of Delphi High School, she was a member of Linwood Church of Christ in Lafayette, the Modern Mrs Home Demonstration Club.

Also surviving are a daughter, Sherrell Weston, Lafayette, a son, Ted Ratcliff, Burnettsville, a brother, Don Richardson, Florida and five grandchildren.

Sevices will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Delphi with the Rev. Guy Brown officiating.  Burial will be in IOOF Memorial Gardens, Pittsburg.

Arrangements are being handled by Horn Furneral Home, Delphi
