Marcia L. Minix, 47, of Elwood, died Aug. 30, 2009, at her daughter's residence following an extended illness. Marcia was born on July 31, 1962.
  Survivors include a daughter, Natasha Minix; son, Justin Minix; and companion, Rick Singer.
  Celebration of Life Service 4 p.m. Thursday at Dunnichay Funeral Home.
  Visitation 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday.
  Memorials to American Cancer Society.
