Francis G. Kerker, Jr., 51, of Kokomo died at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 1982, at Howard Community Hospital, Kokomo. Born July 6, 1930, at Lafayette, he was the son of Francis and Dorothy Vanderkolk Kerker, Sr. He was married to Anne Harrington on April 21, 1956, and she survives. He was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Kokomo, K of C Lodge and American Legion. He was graduated from Delphi High School, Ventura Junior College, Ventura, Calif., and California Polytechical. Surviving with the wife are his father, Francis Kerker, Sr. of Delphi; two sons, Frank Kerker of Kokomo and John Kerker of Greentown; and a daughter, Jill Kerker of Indianapolis. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church with the Rev. Melvin Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Albright Cemetery, Kokomo. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Eller Mortuary, 725 S. Main St., Kokomo, where rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the heart fund.
