Faye Dubes, 82, of Lafayette, died at 11:10 a.m. April 4, 1992, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi. She had resided there four days. Born Feb. 20, 1910, in Pyrmont, she was the daughter of William Curtis and Lydia May Newell Dubes. She was a 1927 graduate of Delphi High School and was a former member of the Pyrmont United Brethren Church. She had lived in Lafayette for many years. She was a former manager of cafeterias at the Purdue University Airport, the former Campus Inn, and Fairfield Manufacturing before retiring. Surviving are Susie Butcher of Park Ridge, Ill, whom she raised in her home; a sister, Helen L. Cree of Delphi; and two brothers, Glen C. Dubes and John R. Dubes, both of Delphi. Services were Wednesday at Horn Funeral Home with the Rev. Gordon Butcher officiating. Burial was in Pyrmont Cemetery.
