Clayton Million

Clayton Million, 64, of Rt. 1, Delphi, a farmer and lifetime resident of Adams Township, died Tuesday at 4 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.  He had been in failing health for a year.
  Born October 16, 1907, in Carroll County, he was the son of Robert H. and Dean Strauser Million.  His marriage in 1925 was to Esther Paschen.  He was a member and elder of the Oak Grove Christian Church and a Farm Bureau member who had served as county chairman for three years.  He had served on the Carroll County Farm Bureau Co-op Board of Directors and served the past several years in the CROP program and was co-chairman.  He was a member of the REMC.
  Surviving with the wife are a son, Douglas of Rt. 1, Delphi; a daughter, Mrs. Dallas (Lucille) Blackburn of Flora; a brother, Fred Million of Venice, Florida; eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Oak Grove Christian Church.  The Rev. Stephen Haley will officiate and interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
  Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Monticello.
  Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Christian Church or Carroll County Cancer Fund.
