Frederick J. Morrison, 59, a former Delphi resident, died unexpect- edly early Wednesday morning while I visiting his sister, Mrs. David E. Nightman, in Chicago. Born in Carroll County, he had been in ill health for several years. He resided in Delphi for a number of years before moving to Lafayette. At the time of his death he was a resident of Soldiers Home there. A veteran of World War II, he was a welder and employed at Purdue University prior to his retirement. Surviving with the sister is a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Shaffer of near Flora. Final rites were Friday morning at Soller-Baker Funeral Home in Lafayette.
