Graveside rites were conducted Monday afternoon at the Masonic cemetery for Mrs. Ruth Wilkinson Robbins, 55, of Sterling, Illinois. Rev. James Wm. Rankin officiated and services were conducted by Rose Chapter, Order, of Eastern Star. Jackson funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Robbins died Friday at the Community hospital in Sterling after an illness of two years. Born May 23, 1905, in Flora, she was the daughter of Charles and Clarice Switzer Wilkinson. She married in 1929 to Clyde Robbins. Mrs. Robbins was a member of the Delphi Presbyterian church and the OES of Delphi. Her husband, a former city water works superintendent of Delphi, is now the superintendent of the water works at Sterling. Surviving are the husband and a son, Jon of Jackson, Illinois. The parents and a sister, Betty Wilkinson Andrew preceded in death.
