Clarence Foster - Class Of 1917

Clarence Earl Foster born 1898, died 12/2/77.  He married Clara Mabel West and they had 4 children and he a step child  (Maxine). After graduation from high school he entered the Army immediately during WWI and was sent to France.  He was a victim of "mustard gas" and spent his life suffering the after-effects.  He remained in the military for the duration of the War.  He fathered four children, Jean, Bud, Alice, and Bobby.  He spent most of his life working for the U.S. Department of the Navy and at the Ordinance Ammunition Command in Joliet, IL  He lived most of his life in Pittsburg, IN and is interred there in the Pittsburg Cemetery.
